Bernd is a friend of mine, he lives in Groningen (Netherlands), it’s German.
I knew him on internet, via email. A common friend, Debora, helps each other to keep in touch.
This video is a walk to arrive in front of the door of Bernd house.
The noises are taken from the original audio of the video footage, with GarageBand I’ve compose the sound carpet like a strange breathe mixed with a strange walk step, just to create a evocative ambience. I worked hard with the rhythm of sounds.
The video is taken with a little MV960 and postprocessed with Final Cut pro to give him a particular dream effect. There is no film editing, it’s a long unique shoot.

something about Forrò music:
Forró is a kind of Northeastern Brazilian dance, as well as a word used to denote the different genres of music which accompanies the dance. Both are much in evidence during the annual Festa Junina (June Festival), a part of Brazilian traditional culture which celebrates some of the saints of the Catholic religion. The most celebrated day of the festival is known as the Saint John’s (São João) day.

I’ve realized other videos published on YouTube.com
Is a personal research to find a style with evocative moving-images.
Experimenting with video footage, sounds and visual effects to understand how feelings are difficult to capture and explain with artifacts. I’d like to work on it more and deeply.
